Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Orestone Manor provides a peaceful break near Maidencomb beach with convenient parking. The food, especially the 3-course meals, is frequently described as exquisite, with daily menu changes and wonderful flavors. Some rooms, like the coach house rooms, include hot tubs and are noted for being spacious and spotlessly clean; however, a few guests have mentioned that some rooms can be a bit too warm due to limited window options. Guests also enjoy relaxing in the communal lounge areas or exploring the charming garden and terrace with bay views.

Acceptable stay, but room issues

good breakfaststeep roadcar park view
The breakfast was good with a mixture of self-service cereals and cooked-to-order options.
The beautiful double room overlooked the steep road. It also faced the main entrance to the hotel. I found the car park view disappointing. There was no front garden to speak of. There were no windows to open to let air into the bedroom other than a half window in the door and the door itself. The room was Stiffling HOT.

The suite had a fine view of the sea. The bathroom offered nice amenities, a REALLY great touch. I found a charging point for my electric car, very convenient.
The continental breakfast was simple. I wished for more options.

Mixed experience due to room issues

car park viewstiffling room
The beautiful room was NOT what I expected. It overlooked the car park, not a garden. The balcony door banged all night, letting in noise from the road. The room was stiffling, and there were no proper windows to open for ventilation. The cost did NOT match the quality of the room.
