unsatisfactory cleaning street noise

the room cleaning seemed like a quick once-over. i found some crumbs under the bed and the bathroom mirror had toothpaste splatters from previous guests, i suppose. also, the noise from the street was a bit much even with the windows closed it.

non-functioning air conditioning unhelpful staff

The room faced Le Ramblas. That detail was nice.

The air conditioning did NOT work. Staff dismissed my concerns and insisted it was functioning. They only provided a fan after I kept complaining.

fantastic stay, near everything!

amazing location simple access cheap water

i appreciated the location. it stands right on the ramblas, so getting around town was simple. a metro station is right outside, so reaching destinations was easy. the hotel had cheap water and snacks from a vending machine, that was helpful.

the hotel entrance looks a bit shabby. it didn't feel cute at first. the front could use some brightening.

desk staff helped me with directions. some staff speak english well, made things easier. i could also keep my luggage there before check-in, such a convenience when arriving early.

the bar area looked very nice. residents get a ten percent discount on drinks, so i tried a cocktail. i didn't eat at the restaurant, but it seems a nice spot.

it's very close to the liceu metro station. the hotel is on la rambla itself, so it's central. many restaurants and shops are just around every corner, very practical!
