the room was very comfy and tidy. the hotel location was near restaurants. free parking was available, convenient. the staff were friendly and approachable.

the breakfast cost was extra. the music was loud all weekend. the room was compact. i found a better hotel for less, breakfast included.

Comfortable stay close to the harbor

clean towel quality food

The room included big clean towels and was very airy. Breakfast offered fabulous quality food and many choices. The Griffin bar was well stocked and provided a place to spend an enjoyable evening. I found the hosts to be very accommodating to all my needs.

The parking was quite tight. The walk back to the hotel from the harbor involved a very steep uphill climb. I wish I had known this ahead of time.

A Few Issues

free parking live music dirty carpets tired room

I liked the convenience of the free parking. It saved me about £12 daily. The downstairs bar was also nice. It had live music, which I found charming on a Saturday.

The room felt a bit tired, to be honest, and in need of some updating. I also noticed that the carpets were not as clean as I would have hoped. They seemed quite dirty to me.

i loved the superb breakfast. the choice was extensive. the griffin bar was wonderful, i enjoyed drinks in the evening. i appreciate the staff that were excellent, friendly.
