the staff was very attentive and kind. they allowed me to do an early check-in. they provided me with a map and relevant information about the city. breakfast had a very pleasant canal view.

i experienced some problems in my room. the ac unit did not cool the space. it remained hot throughout the night. lack of maintenance seems to be the issue.

the location was good. i walked about 25 minutes to piazza san marco. the neighborhood had many restaurants with locals (it felt authentic). the breakfast area had a charming view of the canal (especially enjoyable with coffee).

the walls seemed a bit thin (i could occasionally hear noises from the hallway).
