the location was acceptable!

the room they gave me was tiny and frankly, uncomfortable. i even contacted the concierge before check-in to express my concerns about getting a bad room as a loyal customer. they claimed they had no other rooms available, so my offer to extend my stay if they could switch rooms went nowhere.

The location IS excellent! It's a short walk to the underground station. Plenty of good places exist nearby to eat. I really liked the communal lounge and terrace. The rooms are also well appointed.

The plumbing WAS noisy especially from the surrounding rooms.

The location is great, i thought. south kensington underground station is close and the area felt quiet (a nice contrast to other parts of the city). the staff were friendly. I had no issues getting extra towels. the continental breakfast offered a decent range, including sweet and savory options. the lounge and breakfast area has a modern design, i noticed.

way too many emails arrived before i arrived. the double room was tiny, barely enough room to walk around with open suitcases, i thought.

the hotel sits in a quiet residential area of chelsea, offering a quiet setting. it is close to south kensington underground station. this provides easy access to different parts of the city. a good restaurant is pretty much next door, i noticed.
