I found the hotel's location ideal near the promenade. My room featured a very comfortable bed and offered adequate space. The staff were consistently friendly and ready to assist. I also liked that parking could be prebooked at the rear.
I observed some areas looked a little dated, like the carpets in the bedrooms.

The staff was pleasant upon my arrival at the hotel.
The room needed attention. Curtains were not properly hung, and plaster was peeling off the wall near the window. The condition was acceptable for a short stay, but it did not feel like it was worth the amount paid.

I found parking easy at the side of the hotel. The room includes tea and coffee facilities, which I appreciated. The sea view from my room was very nice. Breakfast was lovely with a buffet. I also appreciated full English buffet style with as much as you can eat. The restaurant was clean. I thought the bar staff was lovely.
