The room was tiny. breakfast was a nightmare! there wasn't enough space for all the guests when we first tried to go. i couldn't believe the lack of planning or consideration . It was frustrating,

Charming Stay Near St Mark's Square

I found the hotel very close to all the major attractions. The staff was excellent. Isabella was friendly. The terrace had a lovely view of the Doge's Palace, and it was great. I appreciated their helpful recommendations for local places to eat.
I was requested to leave the Room Key with the hotel lobby, but upon returning and asking for our key, the receptionist continually gave us incorrect keys. This was good, as it seemed anyone could request our key and enter our room while we were out.

Several restaurants and cafes were very close to the hotel, offering varied dining options. Many served traditional Italian cuisine. A delicious gelato place was located nearby. It was very convenient. I appreciated the proximity.

The location was central. It was near St Mark's Square and a vaporetto stop! This made getting around the area really easy. The Doge's Palace was also just a short walk away.

The rooms had good air conditioning. That was important for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed the room's garden view. It made the space more relaxing. Clean towels and toiletries were provided daily. I really appreciated that attention to detail.

The check-in process NEEDS improvement. Maximo REALLY needed customer service training. The hallways were HOT. It felt more like a Motel 6 with a self-service vibe (i was so disappointed).
