the grand staircase made quite an impression as i entered. our double room was well-prepared and spacious. the hotel provided plenty of hot water and fresh towels each day.
the room needed more milk for tea and coffee though, it was a slight inconvenience.

the hotel food offered loads of choices! the snug area provided a nice alternative to the cabaret seating. we appreciated the variety and found it satisfying.

This location is great. It makes destinations quite central. the parking across the road offered convenience for our travels. we found it very accessible to the area we wished to explore.

i found the staff helpful in both the reception area and dining room. the meals provided were nice and the room had everything i needed. the room was a twin room sea view.
the corridors on the floor i stayed on was in need of some decorating.

i noticed a small stain on the carpet.

I appreciated the central location. The room had a fridge and a fan which was helpful. A quick five minute walk got me to the seafront. The sea view from my room was really good.
I noticed there were no door hangers for requesting room cleaning or indicating 'do not disturb'.

I was treated to a champagne afternoon tea. we received a full bottle of champagne, it was more than just a glass each. the sandwiches tasted fresh, and the cakes were gorgeous. the scone was one of the best i have ever had. It was good.
The pillows were a bit too hard for my liking, causing a slight discomfort during the night. it was manageable.

the leisure facilities were good (i especially enjoyed the pool). the staff were friendly and efficient. the situation was wonderful.
the room was let down because of the cleanliness. the carpet needed a good vacuum around the edges as dusty. also three pictures above the bed had some kind of white liquid all over the glass. i reported it to the receptionist who said he'd get housekeeping to come and clean but this wasn't done.
