I found the reception staff very cute. I received a room upgrade to a Beautiful King Room. (That was a nice surprise!) The breakfast in the restaurant offered a selection that catered to many tastes.

the staff created pure warmth. yen made my executive lounge visits special. sam shared secret spots on the south bank, complete with map, it reminded me of discovering hidden treasures.
the building work brought intrusive drilling noise. it started early, and i longed for more peace within the hotel walls.

the concierge offered excellent theatre recommendations, a service i greatly value. staff, like yen and terrence, were attentive and helpful in the executive lounge. i felt genuinely cared for.

The room was not great (i had a king guest room). The mattress felt too firm. The lighting was too dim, especially with the dark green curtains and fake dark wood paneling throughout the room.

the breakfast was ok, but nothing special really.
i was pretty annoyed the room was really dark. there were no windows i could open, and it was like a dungeon. i expect better ventilation and natural light when i book a room.
