The Grand Hotel offers a beautiful experience, starting from its impressive building and continuing with spacious, comfortable rooms. Many guests enjoyed the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, some noting the outdoor pool is heated, as well as spa facilities like the jacuzzi and steam room. Breakfast is a highlight with options ranging from a full English to vegan choices and an excellent buffet, though a few guests found the facilities slightly dated in places. The hotel's location near the beach and promenade adds to the appeal.

The staff was very attentive. The room was clean and spacious (a Superior Classic Double Room Sea View). The breakfast included a good choice of options. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool. It was large enough to feel like you could get some exercise.
The furniture in the room was scratched. The basin seemed to have a rusty plughole. I noticed a cap missing on the toilet lid hinge. I also think that the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working properly.
