canal view italian style limited choice uncomfortable atmosphere

the room had a lovely canal view. i appreciated the classic italian style. map information from the staff helped with gelato and tourist sites.

the breakfast choice seemed a little limited. housekeeping also seemed to stare whenever we passed them in the halls.

charming stay in a fantastic location

high ceiling mosaic bathroom central location

The rooms had high ceilings creating an airy feel. the mosaic bathrooms were a beautiful touch, though compact. the hotel's location is central, putting you close to main attractions. The service stood out, especially the breakfast room manager who provided a special pastry. the porter was very professional and helpful with luggage.

I had some issues with noise, as my room overlooked a walkway. it stayed noisy late into the evening. This was disruptive.

helpful concierge included breakfast useless button triggered alarm

The room had classic décor. The included breakfast had bacon and eggs. Luca, the concierge, arranged a water taxi for me (very helpful!). He even accompanied me and a bellboy to handle luggage.

The staff did not communicate about the fire alarm that was triggered in my room. The toilet flush button was useless until pressed multiple times. I found it disappointing for a hotel of this category (especially considering the price point).

main attractions tasty coffee excellent service

The location provided easy access to the main attractions. Breakfast included tasty coffee and various pastries. I tried some delicious cocktails at the bar and the staff provided excellent service there.

The air conditioning instructions were not clear, and I could not get it to work. The system did not seem fully functional.
